Job Description:
Senior Product Manager/Product Manager III's play a pivotal role in defining product strategy based on a deep understanding of market challenges and innovative solutions informed by thorough research and analysis. The focus is on developing strategies that capitalize on market opportunities to solve customer problems, thereby creating substantial value in the marketplace. This Product Manager will be working with our Hawthorn River Loan Origination System product.
Proactively seek market intelligence (discovery and validation) to establish business strategies and define market needs.
Define and manage Product Strategy for products in the assigned product line, collaborating with Product Managers, architecture, engineering, product marketing, and other key stakeholders.
Work with product managers to create product roadmaps that deliver the product strategy, engaging with the product team to review and validate roadmap changes.
Partner with the Product Line Leader to create business cases, assess business value, and prioritize existing and new products, providing well-formed recommendations to deliver on agreed strategies.
Provide essential market and solution information to support strategic channel opportunities and activities, including defining expected business outcomes for new versions and features and measuring their success.
Collect and analyze information to determine pricing models, schedules, and supplementals, ensuring financial targets (ROI, profit margin) are met.
Manage the Product Lifecycle independently, leading a Product team responsible for a product line portfolio or customer journey.
Represent CSI and the associated product portfolio in thought leadership, participating in industry events or webinars as a recognized subject matter expert.
Assist Product Marketing in creating tools for ongoing sales channel enablement for prospects and customers.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Marketing, to create positioning for assigned products and align the organization with how buyers perceive and discuss their problems.
Participate in demos for strategic cross-sale opportunities.
Mentor and coach Product Managers and Product Analysts.
Fulfill any additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.
Qualifications
6+ years relevant work experience preferrable in banking and product management
Pragmatic Certified Level II (minimum)
Strong Market Research & Analytical Skills – Proven ability to gather, analyze, and apply market intelligence to define strategy and identify customer needs.
Strategic Product Management Experience – Demonstrated success in defining and executing product strategies, roadmaps, and lifecycle management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Skilled in partnering with architecture, engineering, marketing, and leadership to deliver business-aligned product outcomes.
Financial Acumen – Experience developing business cases, pricing models, and ROI analyses to support strategic decisions and financial targets.
Industry Thought Leadership – Ability to represent products and the company in industry settings as a knowledgeable and credible subject matter expert.
Leadership & Mentorship – Proven capability to mentor product team members and guide cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
