Job Description
Ares is seeking a highly motivated candidate in the Investments Systems team with expertise in Salesforce, Investor systems, data, and processes. Candidate must have strong hands-on technical expertise with Investor Data, Investor Portal, Data Lakehouses, SQL, PowerBI, and financial reporting. Alternative Asset industry experience is required. An ideal candidate should have leadership skills, be an excellent team player, confident & clear in client-facing communications, and be able to articulate business requirements and technical solutions. This individual will partner with the head of Investor Systems to manage the team’s roadmap and mentor the team members.
Education:
BS or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent technical training and professional work experience
Experience Required:
12+ years of technology domain experience
Experienced with Salesforce platform related development, customizations and integrations
Alternative Assets experience is a must.
Strong understanding of institutional fundraising, reporting concepts, and associated investor data and lifecycle
Knowledge and experience in investor data strategy and data transformation programs focusing on data aggregation from multiple sources, transformation, and normalization
Experience delivering and supporting end to end solutions covering data warehouse/Lakehouse design, data modeling, and BI/reporting to transform data into valuable business insights
Working knowledge of partnership accounting and associated workflows and datasets; Investran experience is a huge plus
Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience with SQL, Tableau/Power BI, and working with APIs
Experienced in working on external facing Portal(s) (i.e., investor portal)
Knowledge of Python and/or Alteryx is nice to have
Proven track record of successful project management and transformative deliverables
Experienced working in an Agile/Scrum environment with working knowledge of task management tools like Jira and ServiceNow
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Must have excellent oral and written communication, presenting ideas/updates to stakeholders and team members, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Experienced in providing end-to-end ownership
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance applications in iterative release cycles
Experience with data management concepts like MDM, data quality management, and data governance
Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and recommended solution options

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$230,000 - $250,000
