A Brief Overview
US LBM Technical Product Manager - Application Development will be at the helm of developing and enhancing web/mobile applications for US LBM. Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to our business and our customers. Primary focus will be to facilitate the agile development process from conceptualization and discovery through deployment, while maintaining a clear vision of the product roadmap.

What you will do

  • Define a clear product roadmap that aligns with the vision of the company's goals and key stakeholders.
  • Translate the product capability needs and priorities to the development and cross functional teams.
  • Participate in the discovery process and conduct research to identify user stories.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure the application addresses user requirements and standards.
  • Prioritize and maintain a well-groomed product backlog, breakdown epics and features to well defined user stories.
  • Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, demos and retrospectives.
  • Oversee the product release, continuously monitor/analyze product performance.
  • Actively engage and collaborate with business, stake holders and other cross functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is preferred.


Experience Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in an Agile environment.
  • Experience managing multiple backlogs, large enterprise initiatives involving multiple teams.
  • Proven experience leading customer facing web/mobile application.
  • Domain knowledge of Lumber, Building Materials, Construction industry a plus.


Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of SCRUM and managing backlogs using Azure Dev Ops.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Skill in having both technical and non-technical conversations
  • Ability to analyze results and metrics and take data driven decisions
  • Understanding of application development and relevant technologies


Licenses and Certifications

  • Agile Certifications are preferred.
